Yippee! Just spent a fun morning fishing in Pet Society. My zen approach is really working:
- Click to reel fish in
- Let go when fish struggles
- Click again when fish is calm
The fish will struggle 3-4 times. For more complete instructions, view my previous post.
What keeps this activity interesting—and frustrating—is not knowing which type of bait will hook which type of fish. As my friend Ruth says, it’s a bit like the mystery boxes. “You might have to open 100 before you get the item you are looking for.” I’ve gotten four starfish already and am aching for other types of sea life. I did, however, get a cute Puppyfish, using the white bone as bait.
It would be cool if the game designers placed some rare or expensive items in the pond—for example, rainbow poo, golden poo, star beret, diamond ring. This would be a nice surprise for many of us who haven’t been lucky enough to produce our own shiny poo!
Here’s a running list of Fish and Bait which I’ve compiled, thanks to readers and friends. As you can see, there seems to be very little rhyme or reason to this. More expensive items do not necessarily lead to better fish. A whole pizza (120 coins) only hooked a little Starfish while a coconut half (10 coins) got an Altum Angelfish. A coconut half also yielded a broken bike wheel. Please comment below if you have anything to add to the list.

By now, you must have heard that you can go fishing in Pet Society. Exciting! But fishing is not easy. In fact, I felt like a real dummy as my pet cast his rod again and again, only to see the fish escaping with his bait. Like the hurdle races at the stadium, catching a fish takes practice.
Tips for Catching Fish in Pet Society:
- First, read the directions below the pond.
- When you receive a bite, click and hold your pet to start reeling in the fish. You’ll know you have a bite when there is a splash in the water.
- Release a little when the fish struggles. You’ll know the fish is struggling when there are bubbles in the water and your pet scrunches his/her face.
- Do not fight with the fish. Be zen about this. Let go for a moment until the water is calm. Then click again and reel the fish in.
- The fish will struggle a couple more times. Repeat steps 3-4 as you reel the fish closer toward you.
- Different food items will attract different types of fish. Since you might not catch a fish the first time around, try practicing with cheap items (banana, apple, corn, etc.) until you master the skill.
Remember, do not fight with the fish. If you try too hard, the fish will go away. Hmm, that sounds like classic dating advice. The fish will only stay hooked if you pretend every once in a while that you don’t want it!
Once the fish is caught, it can only be stored in your chest or in an aquarium. Aquariums are available at the Garden Store. As of July 24, 2009, fish cannot be eaten by your pets. They are just for decoration. Since it will take some time to fill up the aquarium, I stuffed it with other kinds of things in my chest. The mochi ball actually bounces within the tank.

Gone Fishing!
Hey Pet Society fans! Fishing is here! So sign onto Pet Society via Facebook now to throw your line in and see what you can catch! You never know what you could find in that pond, perhaps a Carp or Flounder, or maybe just an Old Boot or Bike Wheel! Just be aware that different baits may give you a better chance of catching that fish you are after, and some fish will only eat certain baits!
So how do you fish? First leave your house, walk slightly down and to the right and you will see the fish pond, simply click it to enter. You automatically begin with a twig rod, this cannot be sold, gifted or recycled so you will always have a rod! The food you currently have in your inventory will be shown, click the food you wish to use as bait (if you do not currently have any food, head to the Food Store to buy some for bait).
Once your rod is baited, simply click your pet to cast. When you receive a bite (you will be able to tell from your pets face changing with the surprise and a couple of splashes near the end of your line), click and hold on your pet to start reeling in.
If the fish struggles (which is shown by splashing at the end of your line), let go until it is calm again so that you don’t break your line! Once the fish has stopped struggling, click and hold to being reeling in once again. Continue doing this until the line is reeled in!
One last thing you need to know about fishing is that Aquariums, to put your best catches in, are now available to purchase in the Garden Store!
Obviously, this new pond in the middle of town came as quite a surprise to all the residents, “?” was hurrying back to his Mystery Store with pictures of the new Mysterious Items (which are now available), and to try and be as quick as possible, walked as close as he could to the water’s edge while going around the pond. Unfortunately, a cheeky Puppyfish jumped right out of the water and hit the pictures out of “?”’s paws and into the pond. Sirius grabbed her rod as fast as she could and cast towards the pictures, and eventually (after much struggling) managed to reel them in. As they’d been in the water for awhile though, they weren’t very recognisable, but see if you can work out what they are:

Pet Society攻略8：到Cafe識新朋友
不知有玩開Pet Society的朋友，有
否發現，間中總有一些自已不認識的
外國人會Add自己的Facebook。
究其原因，其實他們都是自己的Pet
到Cafe識回來的朋友。
在Pet Society的Cafe內，玩家除了
可以購物外，其實亦可以到Cafe內其
他寵物的家中與牠們玩耍，什至為牠
們清洗及進行餵飼。
更進一步的，玩家更可以將Pet的飼
主加入到自己Facebook的Contract
List，從而擴大自己的Pet Society
。
對於少朋友玩Pet Society的玩家來
說，到Pet Society的Cafe內認識新
的玩家，也是一個為自己的Pet加分
搵錢的好方法。
Pet Society攻略7：遊戲升級加房
針對Cheat Engine所孕育出來
的老金商人，Pet Society(下
稱PS)終於作出了行動。
據網上消息指，PS最近換了伺
服機器。這除令過往透過Cheat Engine
，從而為自己不停加分加金的
金手指手段無效化外，更將現
時的寵物最高級數由過去的廿
餘及三十餘，升到現時最高的
47級。
房間方面，亦由遊戲初推出時
的一間，到後來的六間，加至
最新的九間。而這一切亦正正
再一次向玩家暗示，PS是不會
爆機的。
對於早前有網友在某大論壇，
因花錢購入PS內的Item而受騙
，本人亦感無奈。但也在此奉
勸各位在學的小朋友不要為貪
搵快錢而惹上官非。也不要為
貪搵快錢而將自己的個人電話
號碼留在論壇的貼子上。
因為如果有人報警，論壇是一
定按警方要求交人。黑狗偷食
，白狗當災，為幾賺十蚊而留
案底，不值不值。
Pet Society攻略6：不用老金做衫
有網友問Dinezz，他在Pet Society內
見到一些朋友的寵物身穿特別的服飾
，但當自己到Shop查看的時候，卻又
發現沒有，那為何會這樣的呢？要怎
樣才可獲得想要又買不到的服飾呢？
首先Pet Society會按季及節日推出
特別服飾，比如聖誕時的聖誕裝，新
年時的新年裝，但此等服飾的出售期
是有限期的，過了節日，就不再發售
。
其次，除節日服飾外，因Pet Society
每周一都會更換社區內各商店的貨品
，而某些服飾更只屬於本周特賣品，
下周不再推售，而這就令一些遲加入
Pet Society的玩家購不到別人已擁
有的東西。
最後，在Pet Society內，玩家如要
獲得服飾，除可到Cloths店及Luxury
店直接選購外，亦可到Furniture店
購買大中小的抽獎箱，將服飾抽回來
。早前社區內流行過的日本武士帽或
舞獅頭，都是只可通過抽獎的方法抽
回來。
如果玩家過了選購時機，又想獲得某
些已停售服飾，那他可以怎樣做呢？
方法就是.找朋友交換。
注意：目前一些使用金手指的玩家，
已將某些大熱商品大量複製後，在網
上設立專門網頁推售，價錢由真金白
銀的5元到50元不等。至於是否違例或
涉及刑事，則有待本社向海關跟進
Pet Society攻略5：交換禮物賺分
今
次就介紹大家用交換禮物的方
法，為自己的寵物加分。
其實每次當大家送禮物給朋友
的寵物時，自己的寵物都會加
分。
現表列如下：
物品原價5元，獲1分
物品原價10元，獲1分
物品原價30元，獲2分
物品原價50元，獲3分
物品原價80元，獲5分
物品原價100元，獲6分
物品原價200元，獲12分
物品原價300元，獲18分
物品原價400元，獲25分
物品原價500元，獲26分
物品原價600元，獲28分
物品原價700元，獲29分
物品原價800元，獲31分
物品原價900元，獲32分

根據以上數據，也就代表當物
品原價愈高，送禮者所獲的分

醒大家一次，玩家每餵他者寵
物一次，也可獲17分。
有人會認為自己開兩個Facebook
Account，再不停在兩Accout之
間交換禮物是最快加分方法。
亦有人認為餵飼才是最快加分方
法。
那你會怎樣看待加分的方法呢？
Pet Society攻略4：零錢最多一千
大家可能每天都會到PS收大信封，拿取
零用錢吧！其實大信封的價值除了有50
元，100元及500元外，更有1000元的，
可惜的是，1000元信封的出現次數並不
常有。
所以，如玩家手頭緊的話，除了可透過
探訪朋友的寵物，和牠們玩遊戲，洗身
刷背，又或出街撞樹，以至到運動會贏
一場比賽外(一場30元)，玩家亦可變買
家中的物品。
一般來說，玩家出售產品所獲得的利潤
，往往是商品原價的三分之一。比如一
件衫買入時1000元，玩家如要出售套現
，那他只可獲得有333元。如玩家想出售
一條原價2000元的褲子，那他只可以得
回666元。
但有一點特別的是，如果物品原價是3000
元或高於3000元時，那將之出售，則只
可獲得999元，而999元亦是目前PS內，
所有賣出商品的最高回購價。
當然，玩家亦可以到You-tube尋找一段
教授如何將金幣無限增加的金手指短片
。但通常資深玩家一看，也就能看出那
些人是用老金的了。
此外，PS的另一個好玩之處就是每周一
都會在各店內更新一些新商品，比如新
款衣服，家具及食物等。每逢過節，PS
亦會推出一些應節產品。街景亦會隨之
轉變。
Pet Society攻略3：新餵飼法加分
看到愈來愈多人玩Pet Society，(
下稱PS)，作為玩家之一，Dinezz亦
感開心。今次寫攻略三，主要介紹
另一個洗分方法。
網友如有看先前的攻略一或二都略
知，要在PS不停up level，就須不
停為寵物增值分數，至於如何用最
少的時間為寵物加最多的分(洗分)
，那除了如攻略一提到般，找一隻
可以不停進行洗分Pet出來外，另
一個方法就是在每次完成餵飼朋友
的Pet之後，登出PS(請記得save)
，回到Facebook主頁，然後再重新
登入PS，對朋友的Pet再重新進行
一次餵飼。
具體來說，以Dinezz的Pet：dilulu
為例，因為本人是位不負責任的飼
主。所以dilulu的三條能量Bar永遠
是全空的。亦因如此，Dinezz的朋
友總是喜歡幫dilulu打滿三條能量
Bar後，先登出Game，然後再登入，
再一次幫dilulu打滿三條能量Bar，
如事者進進出出遊戲三四次，分就
回來了。
或許有網友問，為何dilulu的三條
能量Bar永遠是全空的？因為那就是
遊戲本身的Bug位，一日Dinezz不對
dilulu進行餵飼，那無論老友在餵
飽了dilulu多少次後，每當他重新
登入PS後，他永遠都是見到dilulu
的三條能量Bar是空空如也的。
提出上述的方法，是因為當玩家的
寵物在到了某個level以後，可以供
玩家無限餵飼的Pet就會出現得愈來
愈少(註)。為了保持玩家寵物，在
分數上有穩定的增長，對於不怕麻
煩的玩家，登出登入PS洗分，也是
一個辦法。
(註：比如Dinezz在PS中Add了五位
朋友，他們的Pet分別叫A,B,C,D,E
，Dinezz為了洗分，就會分別到A,
B,C,D,E的家餵飼牠們，並測試那隻Pet
在餵飽或紅色bar滿額以後，還可進
行餵飼，亦即為攻略一中提到用最
少的時間賺最多分的方法，此等供
洗分餵飼用的Pet，通常隨機出現，
亦即是說有時可能是A，有時是B，
有時是C，有時是D，有時是E等等)
Pet Society攻略2：不用老金賺錢
早前Dinezz提及在Pet Society內的
洗分方法，今次就講解在Pet
Society內的洗錢方法。
在Pet Society中，有一些名
號是需要透過消費獲取的，比
如其中一個名號就是玩家須在
各商店消費滿一萬元。
由於遊戲內的消費額是累積計
的，所以玩家只要將物品即買
即賣，就可以在短時間內獲得
上述的名號。
當中，到家具店大量購入價值
50元的抽獎箱，就既可讓玩家
累積消費額之餘，亦有機會增
加玩家的個人資本。
在遊戲內，玩家一般在時裝家
具店購物後，如要將貨品賣出
，往往必蝕無賺。
相反，玩家透過大量購入50元
一個的抽獎箱，既有機會抽得
50元以下商品，亦有機會抽到
逾200元以上的商品。當然抽
到即賣，方為賺大錢的最佳方
法。
但值得注意的，所有從抽獎中
獲得到的衣物，比如鞋子，並
不會作「購入」計算。
有此一提，是因為遊戲內，玩
家只要購入三對鞋子，就能獲
銅鞋獎，10對則獲銀鞋獎，30
對即獲金鞋獎。
過程中，玩家並不需要一次過
購入30對鞋子，方能獲得金獎
。因為鞋子購入數的計算方法
亦是累積計的。
直接地說，就是玩家今天買一
對，遊戲就會自動記下玩家已
買了一對，玩家明天買了兩對
，在累積計算方法下，遊戲就
會記下玩家已買了三對鞋子，
並頒予玩家銅鞋獎。
說回前文，由於從抽獎回來的
鞋子並非用金錢直接購入。所
以，縱使玩家在抽獎中獲得了
十對鞋子，遊戲系統也不會將
這十對鞋子，作「購入」鞋子
計算。
關於衣物購入的規限，遊戲系
統的要求並不嚴格，即使玩家
購入10對同一價錢同一款的鞋
子，遊戲系統也會記錄為已購
入10對鞋子，並贈予玩家銀鞋
獎。而玩家在購入10對鞋子後
，即使全數即時賣出，也無損
買家已購了10對鞋子的交易記
錄。
Pet Society攻略1：不用老金加分
玩了個多星期的Pet Society，是
時候出攻略了。
根本這個遊戲的目的有二，首先是
不停令Pet的分數進升。其次是完
成遊戲所設定的目標，進而奪取名
號或冠軍。
這一篇將會介紹洗分的方法。
Pet Society共分為47個Level，Pet
最初只要每超過500分，就可進升一
級，隨著Pet的Level愈高，就需要每
超過1000分，什至是10000分或以上
才可升級。
每次升級，Pet都會獲得不同程度的
獎勵，比如換新屋，肥皂，毛刷，皮
球，飛碟，跳繩等等。
當Pet升到最高的級數了，Pet House
的空間會因換屋變大。毛刷、皮球，
飛碟和跳繩全變成金色。肥皂則變成粉
紅色心形。
目前，由於Pet最高只可以去到47級，
(屋有九間房)故到了47級後，無論Pet
的分數再怎樣加下去，永遠都是47級。
在Pet Society，玩家可餵飼清洗朋友的
Pet去加分。
上文Dinezz提到的洗分方法，重點就是到不同
玩家的家中，找一隻餵不完的Pet，不
停對牠進行餵飼。
其實大家只要花時間去試，總會發現每
日有一些Pet是可以吃個不停的(即使
Pet本身的紅色Bar已到頂)，洗分的方
法就是預備大量的五元水果，去尋找上
述的Pet。
由於每餵別人的Pet吃一個水果，就可以
加17分，還有兩金幣贈送。所以餵10個

It must be assumed that he decided these would be a great addition to his store simply because they are nothing like anything the Pet Society village has ever seen before. Start one of these bouncing in a room, and it will just keep on bouncing! Plus it’s rumoured the Moon Floor and High-Gravity Floor affect these bouncy wonders!
